A Quick Update!

First, I want to offer a gigantic “thank you” to everyone who came by to see me in New York and made NYCC a fantastic success. It was so great seeing all of you, and your kindness and enthusiasm was absolutely incredible. Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you.
Unfortunately, the lead-up to NYCC was way more involved than I expected, and I ended up burning through what little buffer of JL8 strips I had.
With that said, I’ll be taking this week and next week off of posting new updates while I work to rebuild that buffer. I’d like to have 3-4 installments ready to go before I begin posting again, and I should be able to get that many—or more—finished over that timeframe so that when I return to posting, I’ll feel comfortable with my lead again.
I’ll admit that I’m somewhat embarrassed to be doing this so quickly upon my return, but it feels like the right thing to do; sort of a “nip it in the bud” kind of situation. I strongly believe that taking these two weeks to rebuild a buffer will be better for the long-term health of both the strip and, well, me personally.

Glad to see you're hanging in there. With so many projects, it's hard to keep every project moving ahead all the time. We're just delighted to see anything you produce and are quite satisfied to wait until YOU'RE happy with it.
