The Trial of the Chicago 7
Added 2020-10-18 18:33:05 +0000 UTCSo, I'm not the biggest Aaron Sorkin fan. But I wondered if anyone has seen this new movie, and if so, what did you think? Should I consider reviewing it? Hope ya'll are having a lovely Sunday.

Honestly, the movie doesn't look that interesting. It looks like a political pep rally that clearly has a biased view. However, it's a relevant new release and if folks are not consuming mass horror films and only have access to Netflix, then they are probably going to check out this film so it would be interesting to get your take on the film. Though, in all honesty, I could think of probably 100 films I would prefer to review before this. Heck, Devil All The Time seems more interesting than The Trial of the Chicago 7.

I like his writing more often than not but so far as a filmmaker he's so paint-by-numbers. Even as a screenplay though I think this movie was overwritten and poorly structured. I'd check it out if you're interested in the history, but as a movie I can't recommend it much.
