Today was a fail -_- (also...next topic question)
Added 2021-08-18 02:31:23 +0000 UTCSorry guys. The topic video I had initially planned to upload for you guys got messed up somehow in the recording. I lost 30 minutes of recording time to the evil digital realms. :( I will try my best to record later in the week and get it up by the weekend (no guarantees though). I'll go ahead and give you guys another topic question in the meantime:
Let me know another hot take that's been bugging you.

2021-08-20 00:45:28 +0000 UTCNothing bugging me lately, but it’s a tragic irony that Al Pacino gave one of the great subtle, internalized performances in film as Michael in The Godfather Part II and then proceeded in two decades to become one of the biggest hams, shouting EVERY OTHER LINE to get his point across in a scene. He still has it in him to give a great performance, but no more blowhards and every monologue will need to be cut from his script.

2021-08-18 08:21:15 +0000 UTCGeneral audiences are the most to blame for the state of the film industry. Since the blockbuster boom of the 70s, they have consistently bought tickets to the most publicized mainstream fluff with the occasional, rare good film. The movies they pay for virtue signal Hollywood on what is profitable. It makes even less sense today because the Internet allows them to find information on any film all over the world and yet they still listen to advertisements to the most overblown, shallow works available. I know people are supposed to have their own opinions but I feel that they believe and feel what the mainstream tells them to without second guessing themselves. Until they wake up and stop supporting Hollywood, the bland cash grabs will continue to dominate the industry.

Even when POC or queer people are being represented, we’re most of the time reduced to side characters or it just feels disingenuous otherwise. I wish directors would just naturally cast a diverse group of people without making that the entire talking point of the movie/it’s marketing.

2021-08-18 03:21:02 +0000 UTCWould you ever get into doing professional modeling to a certain extent to help strengthen, not only your brand but also to help financially and to bring in more followers without shifting focus away from the main image of your channel and your brand? It would also add more content to your Patreon.

2021-08-18 02:53:01 +0000 UTCCharacter arcs are one of the most overemphasized aspects of character writing. A character doesn't have to change or learn a lesson during a story for them to be compelling or for the character to have meaning. It can be just as effective to simply paint a detailed portrait and allow those lessons learned come from the viewer reflecting on them self against the character on screen.

2021-08-18 02:52:15 +0000 UTCNot to put you on the spotlight about this, and, I'm sure you do follow politics to a certain degree and keep up to what's going on with the pandemic, if you could, what are just your overall, honest, raw point of view of what's been going on? Without being Left or Right because both sides are total bullshit, and without triggering any of us, what could you say about: the "pandemic", the new Administration, Hollywood specifically being VERY silent on everything, just, what are your overall feelings? If you want to know the ACTUAL truth and find out what's ACTUALLY going on, hit me up in your DMs. You'll feel SO MUCH better! You'll be shocked but also greatly relieved. Trust me!
