I agree with you but. I tried to reserve judgement about the first half as it was going but I pretty much had bad vibes from the opening dialogue. Everything was just so poorly written.

2021-02-28 14:58:09 +0000 UTCIt was a good setup — amoral character doesn’t realize who she’s getting involved with — with a horribly executed second half and tacked-on finish. I enjoyed the first half, then couldn’t believe how far it got off the rails.

2021-02-27 19:49:00 +0000 UTCIt was extremely dark and twisted. It's not the greatest movie ever but overall I thought it was not bad. I think the ending redeemed the film given that nearly every main character in the film is a despicable sociopath.
