Haha good one. I have always been a huge fan of the song. When I hear it, it reminds me of the best roadtrip I ever took. Singing it through the hills of New Mexico. Seeing it in House of Tolerance for sure has always changed its context.

2021-11-03 20:00:12 +0000 UTCI've had the "The Tree Synthesisers" bit from You Were Never Really Here stuck in my head for awhile now. I'm starting to think the movie's score overall might be my favorite from Jonny Greenwood but then again Phantom Thread is amazing as well.

Especially when I'm like deep in my feelings about something. Devastating, beautiful, slightly haunting and for me just this deep gut punch of a movie moment.
