2022 Upcoming Movies

I'd like to thank Bennett Oliver for providing this wonderful link for me the other day. I thought I would share it with you guys. What movies are you excited about the most? Are there any you're wanting a review from the most? Let me know in the comments!

2022 Upcoming Movies

Comments

The films that interest me from the list are: Asteroid City Three Thousand Years of Longing The End Pinocchio Cabinet Of Curiosities Apollo101/2 The Way of the Wind The Northman Triangle of Sadness The Whale Outside of that list I will probably try and check out 'Drive My Car' as all the critics seem to be going crazy for that film. Also Avatar 2, whatever Marvel films come out this year, The Batman, Beast, Spiderman Across The Spiderverse, Don't Worry Darling, Everything Everywhere all at Once, Prey, 65.

Totally agree!

Deepfocuslens

Same! Hope to get to more.

No other movie released this year matters at all not named The Batman.

Would love to see you review more Haneke and Bonello films.

Woosh

It’s a tie between “Vortex”by Noe and “Fire” by Claire Denis. Claire Denis is one of my absolute favorite filmmakers and is as consistently good as they come, And Noe is a filmmaker I love who has had some reaaal misfires. But Vortex is an intriguing one because it’s a film clearly about mortality, and I feel like that’s a theme he’s explored often, but this feels very different from what he’s done from what I’m seeing. The casting of one of his clear influences(Dario Argento) I think could bring some really interesting things out of him.

Sorry to anyone who responded to my previous post. It kept getting deleted by the server. I’ve got it back up. It won’t happen again.

Bennett Oliver

You’re welcome! :) I looked through the article and picked out the ones I’m most excited about and could conceivably be out this year: The Northman (Robert Eggers) The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent (Tom Gormican) The Killer (David Fincher) Killers of the Flower Moon (Martin Scorsese) The Fabelmans (Steven Spielberg) Crimes of the Future (David Cronenberg) Fire (Claire Denis) Blonde (Andrew Dominik) Babylon (Damien Chazelle) Disappointment Blvd (Ari Aster) The Whale (Darren Aronofsky) Decision to Leave (Park Chan-Wook) Of course, I’d be interested in seeing any one of these films be reviewed. But I’m with Tyler: I’d love to see you review Jackass Forever because…I guess I’d like to hear you talk further about the series. Besides, after all the heavy drama of the Oscar contenders this past month, it would probably be nice to watch and discuss something that doesn’t take itself so seriously. Also, in regards to your Guilty Pleasures video a few weeks back where you responded to my comment: Fear not, I don’t listen to the naysayers who look down on it. I pity them. Jackass rules.

The Northman The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent - Nicolas Cage is playing himself

You GOTTA review They Live and V For Vendetta!

Tony Moro

Thanks for your input. Haha yes...I think I will likely review Jackass when it is available.

Deepfocuslens

I don't get excited about anything coming out anymore. So much mediocrity gets hyped up that I just don't pay attention. I'd like you to review more Golden Era films but also keep reviewing those indie films that might fall under the radar.

Everything Everywhere All At Once looks amazing; I didn’t even finish the trailer so I could go in as blind as possible. I think The Daniels showed such a unique and eclectic approach to cinema with their work on Swiss Army Man, so the idea of them directing Michelle Yeoh in a multiverse kung fu movie gets me SO hyped. Also, The Bob’s Burgers Movie cuz why not hahaha

Jared Angcanan

Vortex by Gaspar Noe The Northman by Robert Eggers Don't Worry, Darling by Olivia Wilde Babylon by Damien Chazelle Everything Everywhere All At Once by The Daniels Nope by Jordan Peele Disappointment Blvd by Ari Aster And, cause I can't help but feed my nostalgia, Jackass Forever looks like a delight. I was just browsing the article and saw a lot of maybe coming out this years movies that I hope pop up on the festival circuit. An overtly biblical Terrance Malick movie sounds risky but so promising.

Tyler Shobe

I'm only waiting for The Batman!
