would say Heat Signature, not necessarily influential but the culmination and crystallisation of a lot of the indie trends from the first half of the decade: pause/realtime hotline Miami combat, rougelite elements, procedural spaceships. plus just excellent, great at making the player roleplay more than any RPG imo

Hi Daniel, I hope you and your family had a good christmas (well, as good as it could have been considering the circumstances). I'm looking forward to all the content you have planned and I really like your idea of not announcing the game you're going to play until the day of the livestream! As for the games that didn't make it into the list of decade defining games, I think you could talk about the Mass Effect series, GTA5, Thomas Was Alone and also games that had a negative impact like EA's Star Wars Battlefront 2 and Fallout 76.

For the games that didnt make it into the 25 decade definers, stuff like fallout new vegas, last of us, candy crush, csgo, botw, rocket league & clash of clans. I dont think all of them should be in there but they all had a big impact on the decade.

I feel something that negatively defines the decade would be Fallout 76 or Battlefront 2. I know you weren't a huge fan of it but I think Loz botw could also fit in to the list. And I've only just remembered that FNAF existed, that series was pretty important.

Love the new series idea! Have you seen the bricklink program Stud.io which is their equivalent to LDD, an i personally prefer as they have a full in built render program, which you can make "real life" pictures of your models. Plus the ability to output all of the parts used into instructions and a Bricklink wish-list. Hope all is well soon Dan :)

I’m so sorry about Regan Dan. I hope you, Rebecca and Matilda are coping. As someone who lost their Dad suddenly this year, it can be the hardest time of your life. Just remember to keep moving forward, remember the happy times and create new memories like my family have done this Christmas.
