Counter argument to that is always, most players don't actually go back to most of their games and by the time that happens (if it does) you'll be able to get the game at a fraction the price of new. Also I'm just treating it like game pass and playing all the subscription games because it's more than enough for my adult ass with little time for gaming

the downside is that if/when stadia's servers shutdown you won't be able to play the games but if/when a service like steam/GOG/ or humble bundle/store shuts down you can still play the games you had installed before the servers shutdown.

stop using metacritic! :P Totalbiscuit's view is still right on this one. They're pointless scores, weighted in ways no-one understands. The problem with stadium is that it's like every other console, but with less and shit owing to it's 'streaming games' functionality, taking the awful live-service model to consoles (with ridiculous input lag to boot). Plus it's made by data miners in chief Google, so even more reason to leave it in a dumpster fire.

He keeps saying "nothing on your hard drive" but that's kinda the whole point you can just play the games instantaneously. I really like Stadia as a way to play games while i have nothing to do at work without having to install anything on the work computer or even have to have a good one
