I found most times whacking the touch sensor bar with a broom handle shoved through the coop would fix it, but eventually we ditched it due to how often it broke down. I would love a version that’s mounted to the outside of the coop, for easier maintenance, and also a small solar panel and battery to avoid swapping AAs all the time. It’s the only part of the Egloo I do not recommend as it is.
