Closer and Closer, Alicer and Alicer

Over the weekend I received an update from Roman with a screenshot (main image, above) of the improvements made to the Alice 3D Model. This is after your comments and feedback were combined and relayed by Omri along with his own notes and direction. The result is, I think you'll agree, much closer to the original character concept sketches that we began with. And less "bothersome" around some of the issues we saw in the previous iterations.
It looks like Patreon has done some sort of garbage compression on the image posted above so I'll try splitting it in PS and posting them individually...
Can't tell if that's better or not... Anyway, you get a general idea. And I'll pull more screenshots and some video renders from Roman ... hopefully this week.

It’s okay for a character to have big eyes in an anime-style game.However when textures become more realistic ,huge eyes looks so strange and not pretty.I think the 3D model of Alice in Alice:Madness returns is really good and you really don’t have to change much .

2020-09-03 23:20:58 +0000 UTCGreat improvement! look so much better. :) The things I do think that need a small change are - her nose bridge, I think it’s too defined - the chin is a bit pointy and flat - her cheeks are a bit too flat as well and it gives her a pointy alien head shape - something about her eyes, the size is better but from the side they seem to stick out a little. <img src="https://i.ibb.co/tBvZMRY/15-E486-F9-9-B7-A-45-D2-ACC1-0-D9-AB667-E3-F5.jpg">

I do have to agree with Christine above that the brows are just a bit too light on the inner half of the forward facing view, but they seem okay on the two side views...not sure why that is, but all in all she is wonderful!!!! Great job everyone!

2020-09-01 12:26:48 +0000 UTCLove this version except for the very top of her head where her part is too exaggerated looking like heart humps while the rest of her hair lays more flat against the head. Also the beginning of her brows are a shade too light causing them to look sparse. Otherwise everything else feels like Alice ❤️

I agree with above comments- I would bring the chin forward a bit, and maybe see if there's a way to round/soften the features a bit more, to add some childlike softness to her face. She's definitely much closer, I think she just still looks a few years too old, IMO. But I think if there's a way to round/soften some features (cheeks, chin, jaw?) and bring her chin forward a bit more, I think you may have it!! (Btw, I love that you ask for so much feedback from your followers. This really is the coolest thing, and I think you're just awesome for making us part of your creative process!!)

2020-09-01 02:37:54 +0000 UTCI would need a side by side comparison, but I think it’s overall better. I still find a weirdness with her hair part “m” which may just be me. Honestly though I think the eyes being so dark all around is throwing me. Like there is an element of “too much happening” and I think that might be it for me. Maybe if just the top or just the bottom of the eyes were dark because it’s feeling too much like “mature makeup” (even though I know those newfangled tiktok 12 year olds are even better at makeup than my 32 year old ass lol).

However the side view looks very odd, her jaw seems to be pulled back too far, it looks a little alien. Maybe bring this forward and make her face a little rounder and more childish?
