Did you know the main reason why I started to draw professionally? Basically, I've been drawing almost all my life as a hobby, I even did little animations when I was like 10, but I didn't even thought about dedicating my life to art at that point. Around 2008, I found about Vocaloid (Probably you know where this is going) and I FELL IN LOVE with the concept of Virtual Idols, Divas and Synth music. I tried to use the software to make my own songs and PV's and thats where I started to have interest in improving my work.
Back in 2015 I was asked to design a Vocaloid; I was shaking in emotion. Her name was Lucía.
I happily did the design and put all my and love in her. Bad ending, the project was cancelled.
Still, one of my biggest dreams is to design a Synth character.
That's why I started this little monthly project of drawing something a little different of my usual content here, to remember my roots and why I love to draw and enjoy trying new styles!
Today, 9 years ago, Lucía was announced to the public, I wanted to finish this project with her.
