Pusher Update Catchup #1: The New Big Ship We All Live On

Hey everyone! And, for this very special Pusher update, I do mean everyone. 

As a lot of backers know, we're in the process of doing catch up content for all of the updates we missed over the past few months, and to kick things off we wanted to give something to everyone who supports us, whether on Patreon or by sharing the show with friends or just by listening: the full, 44 minute long audio file that Jack and I cut down to create the sequence that plays during the final five minutes of the Twilight Mirage. There is so much good stuff in here, and I think you'll all really enjoy it.

For Pusher level backers, know that as soon as I hit "Publish Now" on this one, I'm going to finish working on a second one, which you should have that in just another 20-30 minutes. My hope is to have these caught up by end of month at the latest. Those posts will return to being Pusher tier only, and each will be a similar peek behind-the-scenes of the show, both past, present, and future.

And, once again for everyone, here's a second bonus: Every single pusher update comes with a demo track from Jack's incredible soundtrack.  And to keep in line with the Finale theme of this post, it's an early scratch version of what would become "Twilight," the intro track for all of Futura Free. i think this is what turns into ‘twilight’ - you can hear that the minor version of the tm piano riff is already there but it just… comes in, rather than being led in evenly by the opening chords. there’s also no tune - instead there’s that kind of rhodes-y rhythm that i think was trying to mirror the similar one that ‘the notion’ begins with. a lot of my scratch tracks are very mediocre versions of what the track eventually becomes and this is a primo example of one. it was really useful for nailing down some of these piano chords, though.
