Drawing Maps - Road to Season 6 Microscope Summary

As I mentioned in the post for Part 1 of our recent Microscope game, Dre, Jack and I got together this past weekend to walk through the final timeline to the Road to Season 6, as presented in the Microscope game Dre, Keith, Andi, and I played a couple of weeks ago.
Originally, when I thought this would be a 20 minute long monologue from just me, I planned on just sticking it at the end of the Microscope recording. But after bringing Jack and Dre in to chat through it, and that conversation lasting over an hour, I knew that this was more of a standalone piece of content, but I wasn't sure wher to put it.
So, shout out to Discord user @wedidthetimewarpagain who suggested that this become a Drawing Maps update, which made perfect sense to me as not only was this file meant to be a way to summarize the events of the Road to Season 6 for you, the listener, it was also meant to be an aide for my players and I as we get closer and closer to proper Season 6 recording. I hope you enjoy the convo as is, with the note that if we had known this would be a standalone thing, maybe we would've gone into more detail in some places and less in others. Regardless, I hope you enjoy this special ep of Drawing Maps!

this was great! really helped me make more sense of the pre-season 6 stuff. I would much prefer this kind of behind-the-scenes podcast content over a stream, since I rarely have the time to hang out in a live stream.

I only listen to content as podcasts and find that far too often I immerse myself in the (delightful) details while losing a sense of the big picture. More than once where there’s been discussion about avoiding spoilers in recaps I’ve found myself wishing there was something spoiler filled where I could finally piece together all the disparate elements. This did exactly that. I listened to road to season 6 twice and still found this discussion very rewarding. Start a spoiler-filled podcast big picture recap tier and you can sign me up automatically.

I actually have never once wanted to watch a Drawing Maps stream because I'm wary about spoilers and/or being exposed to information that ends up never becoming canon. I am interested in behind-the-scenes and lore bonus content but it's not feasible for me to consistently back at the Pusher tier, so I'm very happy to see this here.
