Clapcast 44: Two Conversations about Cat Poop (April 2021 + POSTCARD ANNOUNCEMENET!))

Ok nice, did your podcast app catch that in the first line? Okay good! Now that I got those people's attention................. 

Welcome a brand new Clapcast!! This week we're talking about: Brio (the italian soda), some guy Art and Austin used to live with (there's so much bleeping in this, do people agree that the clapcast bleeping is funny??? sound off in the comments), some cat's butt, waffle vs hamburger, gushers vs licorice, basketball, driving in New York, Jerry Seinfeld and his cars and that whole thing, Cat Poop Paradise. You are reading that right and the title is a warning: there are TWO separate conversations about cat poop! 

POSTCARD NEWS!

If you were a postcard tier supporter from September 2020 and before, you've been receiving email updates about our PARTIZAN S1 postcard series! September's card will be the last in that set and will be mailing soon. Keep an eye out for an email on that. Thank you so much to Si Sweetman (@SiSweetman) and Conner Fawchett (@thebadbucket) for their beautiful work!! If you were supporting us at $25 and above between the months of January 2020 and September 2020 and haven't been receiving email updates, please email friendsatthetable@gmail.com!! 

Our postcards for months October 2020 through March 2021 will be focused on Bluff City season 2! For this project we worked with Annie Johnston-Glick (@dancynrew) to adapt some of Jack's best Bluff City writing (including a  special message from Hector Hu) into a special Bluff City tour guide! The completed project is so beautiful and we're excited to get it in your hands! Thank you so much for everyone's support and patience!! 

Similarly to the first run of Bluff City cards, this will be sent all as one package instead of separate postcards! If you supported us at $25 and above between November 1st 2020 and April 1st 2021, you will be getting this set! They will be sent out in May!! I've sent out an email for address corrections for these but if you haven't received it, PLEASE EMAIL FRIENDSATTHETABLE@GMAIL.COM! 

(Speaking of Bluff City Season 2, episodes of our next arc playing Tales from the Loop will also be releasing in May!!! :3 Keep an eye out!)

NOW LOOKING FORWARD TO APRIL AND BEYOND....... we're going to be starting a series of Sangfielle postcards!! We've had such a blast developing the tone and setting of Sangfielle and therefore I can confidently say..... these postcards are going to be EXTREMELY GOOD. For this run we'll be working with Chris Kindred (@itskindred / chriskindred.com) and J.R Doyle (@theyoungdoyler) to do an eight postcard series focused on two people engaged in a gunshot duel! 

No sneak peeks of art yet, but I can provide this as a teaser: 

The first card in the series will be April's card, charged May 1st, meaning there's still time to increase your tier if you'd like to follow this run of postcards!! The first postcard will be mailing IN MAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
