Garfield is City City: What’s New @ the Table

It’s still June!? Amazing how even with E3 "gone" the first chunk of this month still feels like a whole-ass 30 days. We are all of course huge nerds and as such tend to follow the news to varying degrees, but now more than ever it feels so easy to miss smaller announcements/reveals. See any games you think we should be keeping an eye on? Throw ‘em down in the comments! (Not the mech ones, we know about the mech ones, if you post about the mech ones I’ll be disappointed.)

Anyway, let’s move on to our new releases:

That’s where the people go. Every time I think about ███████ I need to put my head in my hands. A Palette of Colors Pt. 6 is out, find the show notes here.

The hotdog vendor is part of nature too. It’s Clapcast week bayBEE. That’s right, the best way to spend $1 USD since Arizona iced tea tall boys (not spons) is back for June, and features some highly controversial and dare I say socially critical topics of discussion. Can you think of a cartoon duck who isn’t an asshole? Prove it! I mean – shout ‘em out in the comments! I’m normal about this topic.

The Speaker. It’s pretty tough to call any one character from Twilight Mirage a fan favorite, but Fourteen Fifteen is probably as close as it gets. From gun slinger to opera singer, Twilight Mirage episode 33 (which re-aired on Sunday) covers how they came into the role of The Speaker.

What’s her brain made of… Word on the street is that Sylvi and Keith are planning to pick their 999 LP back up soon, but until then you can refresh your memory with part 4, now on YouTube.

Waitin’ to get cheesed / Card’s haunted. Speaking of picking things up, I want to assure y’all that our hearts do still yearn for the farm. If you’re in a similar boat, our 9th Stardew Valley multiplayer stream is now up on YouTube. This VOD is actually a cursed double-whammy since it’s bookended with – you guessed it – Life Makeover. I just really wanted to undermine Keith’s efforts to organize our channel in any sort of sensible way.

Systems are created to serve us. Hey actually Keith if you read this can you censor Gerald’s drumstick when you archive the VOD of my latest Life Makeover stream I don’t want us to get flagged for anything thankssss

Bonus! Crowbar and Sickle: Back in Action. Remap recently celebrated its 1 year anniversary with a mega livestream, and Austin joined Patrick, Rob and Cado in revisiting PUBG, a staple of the early Waypoint days. Catch the archive on Remap’s YouTube channel, and maybe do the old Like&Subscribe while you’re there. 😉

Citizen Sleeper 2 got a new trailer, and it looks more and more like a FitD game. Tactical Breach Wizaards is out in a few months, which is nothing short of miraculous. Inkle just announced their upcoming game, Miss Mulligatawney's School for Promising Girls.

Whoah I totally missed Goblin Cleanup despite it EXTREMELY being my thing! Good call on LAGS too!

They'll be posted on YouTube soon, but should still be available on Twitch. :)

Dokapon and latest Crusader Kings VODs?

It's a whole show (2 hours) so it's on the long side, but the Latin America Games Showcase was full of solid hits and worth checking out (some good interviews in there too). But for game recs! South of Midnight got a new trailer with a very good talking catfish in it. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 has the pitch "Each year, the Paintress awakens to paint a cursed number upon her monolith, causing those of that age to fade into oblivion. As this number ticks down, more lives are erased, and the shadows of death loom ever closer to those who remain. This cycle must end." Goblin Cleanup: a co-op game about cleaning up a dungeon after adventurers go through it (has a demo) While Waiting: A game about passing the time while waiting (very silly, micro puzzles, Untitled Goose Game but you're a chaotic little person, has a demo)
