The musical stylings of Keith J. Carberry: What’s New @ the Table
Added 2024-05-28 14:00:11 +0000 UTCI thought I’d kick off this week’s post with a little trivia tidbit. Some of you may already know this because references do slip in from time to time, but in our internal Discord server we have a catch-all channel called #thedogpound. It gets used at random, and when we’re recording it becomes the hole into which every goofy reference or off-mic joke is made. Within the past week it's seen everything from WNBA team logos to a 2009 Star Tribune article about Grimes trying to ride an illicit houseboat along the Mississippi. It's weird in there.
Anyway...
What’s scrutinew with you? Finale season continued with Palisade 49: A Palette of Colors Pt. 4, available on your listening platform of choice. Be sure to check the show notes as well, which include content warnings as things get a little more intense for the crew.
The Mechanic. Sunday’s Twilight Mirage continued This Year of Ours with a character vignette focused on everyone’s favorite eyeball-based vlogger, Gig Kephart.
After all, psycho-replication was only one of the things on her list of talents. It’s a Life Makeover video roundup, y’all~
Haters 101: The first Life Makeover stream VOD went up on YouTube so you can go back to the beginning and catch up on the deep and tangled lore.
For Sale: Corpse comb, often used. On Thursday’s stream Y/N went on her second cyberdate that ended up with the guy plummeting to his death out a window. I think we’ve all been there.
She’s dead, Larry. On Friday, the investigation into detective sister’s death continued. And then Shawn showed up! You know, Shawn? Shawn!
All aboard the luck train. A very special Stardew Valley multiplayer VOD went up on YouTube last week. It was delayed due to Keith having some editing fun which had to be removed. Rather than let his hard work go to waste this seems like a good opportunity to take advantage of Patreon's post attachments... If you're curious.
Bonus! Parkview Inn by Glup Shitto. This week fans of Star Wars, theme parks, and/or four-hour long YouTube deep dives have been devouring the latest video from Jenny Nicholsonl, a scathing review of the extremely expensive "Galactic Starcruiser" hotel. But did you know that Austin, Ali, and their co-hosts on A More Civilized Age discussed their own time at this LARP-adjacent experience back in September? They also just set their nightly audio diaries from the trip, formerly Patron-only, free over on the AMCA Patreon!

2024-06-07 23:28:51 +0000 UTCHey! What's the best way for someone to contact you guys with a merch-related question? A friend of mine wanted to reach out but couldn't find an email address (and they're specifically looking to talk to you all, not to Fourthwall)

2024-05-29 13:52:42 +0000 UTCI didn't know some of yall went to the now infamous hotel/park/LARP, I'm keen to listen to that episode!

2024-05-29 00:50:43 +0000 UTCI am watching the Life Makeover stream and this is truly baffling stuff. The random dressing up challenges, the endless inscrutable currencies, the showers of incomprehensible rewards, the murder(???) plotline. Excellent.

2024-05-28 23:27:40 +0000 UTCThanks for the roundup and links! That AMV made me go check my files and realise that yes, I *did* skip that song when I burnt that soundtrack album onto an aeons ago PC, because it's an anti-bop.
