Realis is a science fiction and dark fantasy series that contains discussion of violence, injury, slavery, cannibalism and disease. This campaign never depicts sexual violence, always shows you where the sword goes but never what it does, and always airs on the side of maximalism.

The ReGnostica’s Third Philosopher of Desire once wrote that “‘appetite’ is the brother of ‘impetus,’ yet acts like its father.” Yes. Fine enough. But both are children of the great Pteryxi, the winged-beast who climbs and dives the skies of the treacherous moon of Greenharbor. And so “to have an appetite” is “to fly,” and “to be appetizing” is “to lie.”

But do not take this as criticism of the luring, lying meal. For the wings insist on themselves with garish flaps, and the wind calls its own name so that it is not forgotten. Yet neither alone could bring the creature aloft. If it takes deception to lift the bird-body into the air, then a lie is more true than wings and air both.
