Animation alt vote #1 || The Discipline ||
Added 2024-02-07 18:24:55 +0000 UTCI've been racking my brain trying to come up with a way of doing more community votes for animations that are not going to kill me with the amount of extra workload and I think I have an idea.
Due to how they're animated [not gonna go into the technical details] it would be relatively easy for me to do alternative versions with different characters and backgrounds, even after the animation is finished.
Which is what you're gonna vote for this week! Whichever option wins will become an alternative version of the "Discipline" animation. I'll be swapping out these two characters for other people and altering the background to fit:

It's still all a learning experience for me so I am not sure how it's gonna all work out but damn it I want to try.

I know that might feel like outsourcing for a digital artist (because I guess it is) but it's always so fun for me to see the different takes on the same materials by different artists. It's part of what I love about the community on Newgrounds. And it's always so fun when they post the bloopers as well, and that could maybe be a patreon exclusive? While I'm at it, have you seen those videos floating around pornhub of people reading aloud comics? I keep running into them and I hate how it's often people just stealing content without proper credits, but I kind of love the concept and I would be so curious how it would look if a comic artist actually set up voice acted versions of their own work... Just a idea. Or two, I guess. π
