Mic Upgrade??

I've owned the same microphone since first starting my channel, and it's definitely a starter mic. I can absolutely continue to keep using it, but I'm also considering an upgrade. What do you think?

Lewitt LCT 640 TS is a really good option in my opinion :)

2025-04-18 18:50:12 +0000 UTCI personally use the Shure KSM44A, but they also have very good mid-range microphones in the same series such as KSM32. One warning though is that it will pick up acoustic reverb and background noise in untreated rooms, so it might not be the best option for you depending on your recording environment. However, it is very pleasing when it comes to vocals (spoken and sung) and acoustic instruments, and has a smooth proximity effect.
