Update (Mics & Logistics)

After some extensive research, examining a variety of different possibilities for mic upgrades and sound treatment, I have settled on purchasing a Rode NT1 5th generation microphone. Fingers crossed it goes well - I will need to do some initial testing in order to check whether the mic sounds good with my voice and whether I like it. This mic has a USB option, but I've also purchased an audio interface to support an XLR connection. I'd like to test both options to see which one I like more. This will be my first time working with an XLR connection.
On top of all that, I'm considering changing the software I use to record and mix audio. This will of course result in a bit of a learning curve. I really appreciate your patience during this time.
I believe that I have one more file recorded that I can edit, but past that, it will likely be on the new mic (unless I end up not liking it). If anyone is interested in a custom file or if you have ideas of things you'd really like to see from me, now is a great time for suggestions, as I'm going to be going heavily into scriptwriting mode soon!
I appreciate all of you so much--thanks for helping me make my dreams a reality! I'm super excited to see what I can do with these new tech upgrades (plus some new knowledge about recording technique and audio editing), and I can't wait to share more work with you <3

Oh! I know absolutely *nothing* about individual models- but knowing specific ASMRtists who *have* those microphones, or who have purchased them recently, very good choice. Very sensitive mics, fair bit of tweaking needed to get them how you like but I think thats a good choice in my unprofessional opinion :3
