Here in the US, selfdefense might be your only valid legal reason for being allowed to carry a certain item. Each state being drastically different in some cases... Example I am from Oklahoma, we have a state law locking in our federal constitutional right to carry a gun how ever we want. IE I go buy one, pass a background check, they hand me the gun I can walk out with it concealed or open carry on my hip just like any police officer can. But, we still have some stupid laws on carrying blades in public π€·
