I know y'all are painting her as a bad guy, but my love for the Good Mother continues to grow. She gets things done.

I felt like I'd swallowed a stone listening to the first half of the podcast. Cora -Lee's situation is familiar to me as survivor and friend and the writing was superb.

It's May 2022 and I am re listening to Season 2. Maybe it's because I know so many 'secrets ' of characters but it is even BETTER than when I originally listened to it.

The trigger warning explanation by Cam was extremely respectful and very welcome. The way this podcast handles triggering content with the respect it deserves is very much appreciated and it's sad how rare this is.

I’ve been cooking on this one for a while, and I just wanted to say how much I appreciate the amount of care you lot take in portraying these things respectfully. The amount of intention you all act with and put into your work always fills my heart right up. Thank you.

What a wonderful job with the trigger warnings for this episode. As a trans man, who was in an abusive relationship, I feel incredibly seen. This story was 10/10. As much as it's worth, y'all have gained such respect from me and mine. Hell, y'all had it already but the respect y'all displayed with using the warnings, was incredible. Just gives me more reason to keep tuning in. Keep it up, y'all. 💜

Steve and Cam, as a family that's been dreading March 25 for a good long while now (however much we trust Jonny with the ending to his story, the End is always an occasion for grief), we really appreciate you having our backs and giving us a reason to look forward to it, too.

As someone who has worked with victims of domestic violence, I will say that this episode was pretty perfect, and the respect with which you all addressed this subject is laudable. Cam, your words at the end were also perfect. Thanks so much, I am SO HAPPY to have found this podcast!

Wow 👏

Enjoyed this episode so much as always and thank you for the trigger warnings beforehand. We often forget people have real experiences they are still dealing with. I appreciate your sensitive approach and not just using violence for “entertainment” sake but including a reminder that there is help out there. Love you guys!

So so good! Thank you so much Cam for your words at the end as well. You guys are amazing and I'm glad I found you ❤❤❤

Beautiful, tears were right there then when Cam started talking, yeah. Sometimes terribly beautiful, sometimes beautifully terrible. Just wow, I don't have the words for how wonderful that episode was.

Barton Bella

Oh Cam, thank you for that afterword. ♥️
