You and your partner were knelt, one arm each reached out, running through each other’s hair. Their voice was soft, coaxing, gentle. But you knew how to push their buttons just as well as they knew yours. Through your own fluttering eyelids, you could see theirs drooping.
“You know you just want to let go my love, just letting go a little more each with each pulse of my hand in your hair.” Their voice was so easy to listen to, and you could feel your mind getting fuzzy. Thoughts being jumbled with each soft gripping sensation.
But you weren’t down yet. “But we both know that you love this just as much as I do, sweetness. You love to feel me gather your thoughts and pull them out of your mind.” You found confidence as you spoke. They were starting to sink, but so were you.
“And it’s getting easier to let go.”
“Harder to think.”
You each gathered more of one another’s hair in your fists.
“Until you just…”
“Easier to…”
“Drop.”
“Sink.”
You each pulled, and each fell, into one another’s power.
