Announcement - Holidays + future tier changes

Little announcement! I’ll be going on holidays, so please don’t worry if I don’t answer back. Next week I’ll get to the last commissions I have pending, as well as the request!

I also have decided I will be changing the tiers and prices, though it isn’t definitive yet, I wanted to give a heads up. Changes won’t be done immediately, as each patron gets charged a different year of the month, and I still need some time to think about it.

*New* Tier 5 (around 40€): Request will be Animated (colored) around 5 frames. I enjoy animating a lot, and I think this would be a great way to do it more often.

*New* Tier 4 (around 30€) Request will be a colored sketch (with shading and lighting) up to 3 characters. Includes access to the Exclusive Illustration animated alternative version.

-Tier 3 (around 20€): Request will be a colored sketch (flat colors) up to 2 characters.

-Tier 2 (around 10€): Request will be a simple sketch (Monochrome or Textured) with 1 character, but props and pets are still included. You get to suggest prompts for events like Kinktober now.

-Tier 1: Stays the same. It's for people that want to support me and are interested in getting comms from time to time.

So many different things for the request might sound confusing, so I’ll be doing the same drawing in each style, so it is clearer. You might have noticed that the ones I post have different quality from each other; each one depends on the difficulty of the pose and character, if I’m familiar with it I can do it faster, whereas if it is a new character I might take longer. At the moment, the requests from the Strawberry tier is at 1h30m, and the Latte is at 1h.

I will also set a standard size for the requests of each tier, so the better the tier, the bigger and better quality of the canvas. At the moment, it is at 200dpi/1200x1200 for the Latte tier, and 300dpi/2000x200 (though sometimes I change it, the drawing might be wider than higher, but you get the idea)

-Birthday drawings for all tiers!

About Sketch Pages:

They will be available every 6 months instead of 3, but with more detailed lineart. I want to make them look more different than regular requests. I also considered doing them looking more like quick sketches, but adding more poses, so you get to see more of the character personality.

Regarding streams, I have seen that many artists offer access only to paying members, and voice speaking to the highest tier. I considered that it is better to leave it open for everyone, both free and paid members, so we can all have fun together and talk!

About Ko-Fi: although it's mostly for me to receive tips, it also has the tiers available, mostly for those who want to support me but want to keep it SFW, aso that's why the price will not be increased. It doesn't have most of my content (WIPs, exclusive illustrations) because it is a mostly SFW platform, so I don't think it's fair to have it the same price. It offers the art studies and requests benefits too, as well as the discounts and birthday drawings, just not WIPs.

I wanted to make it one of my main platforms, but I'm not entirely happy how it is. Just a few weeks ago they added Polls... I feel like they are a bit behind compared to the rest.

Similarly, I will be updating the tiers on Subscribestar too, just to keep it updated in case anything happened to this account.

I'm still undecided about my future, I don’t know yet if I’m getting my work contract renovated or if I’ll have to find a new job, but for sure I will keep drawing.

I'm not stopping creating art, but I feel like I have been underpricing my subscription. At the moment I started it felt right, I had nowhere as many people enjoying my art, and I have improved a lot. I have checked other artists and the benefits are overwhelmingly different.

On one hand, drawing so much and so many different ideas has helped me a Lot. If I look at my artwork from earlier this year, I see a lot of improvement.

My main job unfortunately doesn't cover all the expenses to live by myself, at least it allows me to work on my field of expertise and gives me enough time to rest and draw, but the salaries are so low compared in my country to other western countries… At the moment, art is a hobby, but it is also my other job. Of course, I understand that not everyone can keep up with the prices and I won't be mad if you leave or lower your tier or change platforms. I am grateful for all t he support.
