Update: Hard Drive replacement on order
Added 2021-05-26 15:03:06 +0000 UTCThe repair shop confirmed that the hard drive died. (I'm not surprised.) On order is a 4TB HDD, which should arrive between this Thursday and Monday of next week. Once received, I was told the install should be very quick. I hope to be up and running by next week.
In the meantime, I will be getting in touch with Commission winners. The initial "rough sketch" phase for this month will be done in good ol' pencil and paper, so that I can get a head start on them. I will have to use my phone's camera to digitize them in to show, since I can't use my scanner at the moment.
Once I am up and running, I will be making a concentrated effort to complete May's Patreon rewards before any other work. This includes:
• 3 Commissions
• The WIPs, Speed Videos, and PSD files for the Commissions.
• More Sketches
• Coupon Codes to those $10 and $20 Patreon who joined after my hard drive crash (all that info is backed up, but I need my regular computer to administer them).

Turns out I got a Seagate Ironwolf HD! :) There was some miscommunication with the repair shop — I thought they said the price would be similar between SSD and HDD; but the 4TB SSD would have been $800!!! This Ironwolf HDD was about a quarter of that!

2021-05-26 23:11:32 +0000 UTCYeah. The same thing happened to me with my laptop. The mechanical disk drive was corrupted and had to be replaced with an SSD. It works much better than the previous one.
