Vylet's Rather Vital Presets Vol. 2

A collection of presets I've made for the synth VST, "Vital", a free synth that you can download in the instructions below. The preset bank can be downloaded by clicking the attachment link at the bottom of this patreon post. (Cover art by CalamariSpider)

How to install:

1. You must have Vital.vst installed and loaded into your DAW: https://vital.audio/

2. Open Vital

3. In the top bar of the plugin, click the three horizontal lines to open the menu

4. Select "Import Bank"

5. When prompted, select the "Vylet's Vital Presets Vol. 2.vitalbank" file

6. The bank will be loaded into Vital (a bank is simply a collection of presets)

7. To use a preset, you can use the preset browser by clicking the preset tab, which is to the left of the menu icon that you clicked to install the bank

FAQ:

Q: Can I use these presets in my own music?
A: Yes, for commercial or personal use, it does not matter

Q: Do I have to credit you?
A: Don't credit me

Q: What is a "macro"?
A: A macro is, for this context, one of the four knobs on the left side of Vital. When I make patches, I will often map lots of different parameters to one single knob, for ease of use. You can use these to shape the preset even more (and is highly recommended if you want to hear the full extent of the preset)

Q: What is a "modwheel"
A: On keyboards and many other midi controllers, the modwheel (which is short for modulation wheel) is kind of like a physical macro, present on controllers. It is often situated near the pitch bending wheel on a keyboard.
