Bonus: Sneak Peak at new backgrounds for grOw/cinema

Well, for the past few weeks, I've been conceptualizing the next issue. At first, I wasn't sure which series it would be — The Ever-Expanding Universe or grOwing to a Crescendo. I went back and forth numerous times.

Part of the issue was that I kept hitting walls developing either story. I knew what I wanted to achieve and I knew where it would begin, but the in-between journey was either blank or hitting bumps that I couldn't solve. I felt like the underwear gnomes from "South Park" — you know, "1. Collect underpants 2. ???? 3. Profit!" (image included for reference)

After numerous attempts, adjusting and changing the script outline or staring at the screen blankly, I finally hammered out a rough draft that I am happy with.

I got to work on the new 3D backgrounds that will be needed, as there were quite a few. During that process, I continued to iron and fleshed out the outline. The script is strongly in place. A few panels still saying simply "growth" or "dialogue", but I can soon begin.

Each background will still need some tweaking, which I will do when I come to work on that point in the story.

The next issue will be The Ever-Expanding Universe, Ep. XXII (episode title TBD). As I work on this issue, I will continue to conceptualize the "????" part of the next grOwing to a Crescendo episode. (Again, I know the characters, the basic plot points, and the ending... I just need to make a cohesive middle.)
