Reminiscing about SizeCon 2023

While I await feedback from the patrons I’ve contacted for the mOnthly grOw illustration and the first watercolor sketch of the month, I figured I’d do a little recap of SizeCon.

This was my and my wife's fifth attendance in so many cons (2016, 2017, 2018, 2020, 2023). Simply, it was as enjoyable and wonderful as always. Yes, many things went wrong (such as show runner Jitensha catching COVID and had to quarantine in her hotel room the whole time — ugh!!), and some panels and events that I was looking forward to (“Adult Swim”) having to be cancelled due to various reasons, but we all rolled with the punches and it was still an amazing time. My wife, Juliekat, came home from work yesterday in a frustrated tizzy because she said, “I was going over in my head everything that happened this weekend and I can’t share it with anyone at work!!” 😆

As a content creator with a table in the Vendor’s Room, and with my wife on staff, we had to show up the night before to help set-up. Arriving Thursday evening after a 10 hour drive, we set to work getting ready (she meeting with other staff, me setting up my table and display).

I enjoyed meeting many new people I had not met in-person before (though some I’ve communicated via Twitter in the past). New: Alexa Balloon Girl (inflation content producer), Aliana (giantess contest producer), Dalek Sarah (breast/belly expansion model; also turns out to be a big fan of mine); lillhappycloud (erotic illustrations and comics from Ireland); Mabo(Corescant) (inflation/expansion artist) who I’ve had little interactions over the last few SizeCons but had much more interaction this time; Katnips (“Kat”) (giantess artist); Tail-Blazer (expansion artist)(who I knew right away as he looks like his drawings, which is very common); and the amazing Matthew Huntley (giantess painter – matthewjhuntley.com). Seriously, check out Matthew's artwork. It was his first SizeCon (though he displays at other comic cons).

It was also nice to see in person GlennG (aka BaronGwyn on Discord). He’s been an online friend for my wife and I for decades. He is a writer who helped retool grOw/stOry 4, “Breast Wishes.”

Then there were those who I’ve met before at previous cons, but had even more interaction this time: Praedatorius (giantess, breast-expansion, weight gain writer) and his wonderful latex giant boobs and cock; Robclassact (writer of size slice-of-life fiction); Taedis (giant/tiny writer); Aborigen (shrunken men/giantess writer) who is also a good friend of my wife’s; The Producer (inflation/transformation writer) and The Assistant.

And, of course, those very good friends of ours that we’ve met over the years at SizeCon: “Max” from Max Growth Productions and Demora Avarice and her husband Griev. These three are the nicest and most awesome people and we (my wife and I) are happy to call them friends. My wife and I were doing different things at times during the con and it was fun when I showed up late to the “Real-life Expansion” exhibition. This panel had Demora explain and demonstrating saline breast infusion to the audience (with my wife as the guinea pig! Oh yeah!). Demora spotted me enter and sit down, and she excused herself from the middle of her talk and ran over to give me a welcome hug (it was the first time we met this con as she and Griev arrived late). Max is always the OG and all-around good dude.

Wait! You’re saying I should back-up? Saline infusion? Yes, my wife added 2 liters to each breast that day and, boy, was it exciting to both of us. (She has done this a few times before, once along with Demora on one of her live streams a number of years ago (my wife was off camera, and only vocally chimed in).)

I was up in the front of the room on a panel a few times, including the “Size History Panel” and the “Relationship Panel” along with my wife. It was good to see all of the other diverse couples (and a thrupple) up on the panel relating their different perspectives and experiences.

Of course, the late-night “Play Room” was fun, eye-opening, and quite interesting! It was a first for my wife and I, but we stayed seated as observers.

The “BE Show” was a hoot! A “game show” in which contestants would go through different trivia challenges while wearing great balloon rigs. Winners got 5 pumps, losers 3 pumps. The winner was the biggest at the end, without popping. The four contestants were my wife, Demora, Alexa Balloon Girl, and a fourth whose name escapes me.

Three things stood out during the show:

1) My wife, Juliekat, winning almost all if not all answers in the second round in which an image was shown onscreen and the contestants had to guess the “breast slang” associated with it. For example, a photo of 2 owls was “hooters.”

2) Juliekat in heals and a hugely inflated breast rig standing boob-to-boob with Demora with huge, fake boobs (on top of her huge, real boobs). Demora is short, so my wife’s “breasts” lied on top of Demora’s forming an exquisite S-shape between the two.

And 3) Down to the last 2 finalists (Juliekat and Alexa) in a contest of “Call me Daddy” in which one contestant had to say something along these lines directly to another — the first one to “break” eye contact, smile, or react in any way would lose. My wife thought about it, leaned real close to Alexa, and quietly whispered something to Alexa, to which Alexa immediately broke, shouted “Oh my god!”, stumbled, and laughed in shock. Everyone’s eyes grew and heads snapped around as murmurings such as “What the hell did she say?” bounced around the room.

Of course, all things must end, not without a final hurrah. The trip ended with a dinner at a local restaurant with my wife and I, Mabo (and 2 of his friends), and Demora Avarice and Griev. We had hoped Max Growth could have joined us as well, but he had to hit the road. After saying goodbyes (and after the wife and I were picked up in a mighty bear hug by Mabo (he’s 6’7”)) we said our final good byes and left for home.
