Another Patron asked me about the guy in my avatar, and since he's somewhat related to this ongoing story I'm working on, I felt it was worth sharing the answer with everyone.

I had originally planned for T'Lar's story to be told by Flannagan, as if he was telling a flashback about her life, after meeting her throughout his own adventures. In practice though, I found my writing and drawing to flow better and I was more inspired by telling it from T'Lar's point of view.

He will definitely make an appearance at some point, though I'm not totally sure when. I was still thinking of at least having some sort of prologue as an introduction to the story, since he is something of a personification of myself (much how Masamune Shirow likes to draw himself as an octopus).

As for his origins, I'm not ready to reveal that just yet. ;)
