FAQ #01 - Why do your comics only have 8 pages?

My dearest supporters,

Sometimes I receive inbox questions that might be in the interest of other patrons. So I decided to make a few of them public, along with the answer provided.

(Note: I'm not naming the users who asked them, but if it was you, feel free to raise your hand and deepen down on the theme.)

Q#01:
Hey Tracy,
I was wondering if you could send me the other 16 pages of Sexual Symbiosis 2 (or is it just the first 8 pages that are available?). I was never quite too clear on how many pages that comic is. Issue #1 had 24 but the new ones only have 8. Why is that?

Hey there,
Sexual Symbiosis #2 is only 8 pages long.
Sexual Symbiosis #1 was published as a complete story with 24 pages, which took 18 months of production time, between script, character design, pencils, inks, colors and lettering.
When developing the sequel for SS#1, we decided to release a shorter story, with 8 pages, in order to diminish the gap between editions.
Issue #2 took 6 months of production and was released exactly 1 year after the first one.
We plan on releasing a new one again next year, and so it again every year after.
They'll always be 8 pages from now on.
It takes a long time to produce even what seems like so few pages.

tl/dr:
Sexual Symbiosis #1 has 24 pages.
Sexual Symbiosis #2 has 8 pages
All other comics have 8 pages (or maybe 1 or 2 more if my artists get too excited).
