I can't believe this is Part One! Where's Part Two?? Want more.

Ars Gratia Artis

It was a set up issue, so I was a bit displeased. I'm sure I'll like issue 2 more.

From the feedbacks, Ashley seems to be the one people are more eager to see in action, hmm? I think I'll focus next chapter on balancing her with Anya and Gwen. Thanks!

Gotta say, this made me more excited about the 2nd part. Also gotta see Ashley in action after all that talk. I mean she literally is asking for it. Hell even 3 vs 1 with her would be hard to satisfy her I think :D Poor Gwen and Anya though, Solus gonna wreck them O.o

Those are very kind words. Thank you very much. I'm really glad you appreciated.

Of the six comics released this year this was my absolute favorite. The characters were written with unique and perfect voices (something the actual Marvel comic botched but I digress) for all the main characters. It had such a captivating story I actually breathed a sigh of relief when I read the TBC page. I say this to Tracy, don't worry about fretting. Once you put barriers up they may never be taken down, you must continue to express yourself first and foremost. Remember you can't please everyone (you have one complaint saying this was too edgy and another saying it needed to be filthier). Also the brain is the largest erogenous zone.

Setups are always hard, specially with such a large cast. The sex ratio was really low, but issue 2 will be more about the lewd action than this one.

I'm sure I'll like part 2 more, 'cause this just felt like a lot of setup for little payoff (so far). I was very happy to see the Peter and Silk bit at the start, and Ashley's filthy mouth was pretty awesome too. Contrasting it with the apparent innocence/objections posed by Anya and May made for fun reading and good dialog too. I still enjoyed this, but I'm hoping things get really filthy in the next chapter.

What I should point out, of course, is that any issues I have with SS and HFtI is thematic, and not reflecting on the quality of the actual work, which is very well thought out and crafted. Just because I don't like Tolkein's writing style, or the fact that there are few women, doesn't mean I don't like Hobbit or LOTR. So, yeah, keep writing smut, TS. ^_^.

I'll admit, I was trepidacious about this comic before reading. I understood on some level that it was going to be a continuation of what began in Scarlet Spiders, and I was already iffy about the sex between Daemos and Jess in that ish, and when the Inheritors are all about killing and eating, well... I know that's not the focus of this smut. But the idea of it subtracts from my arousal. I already said, though, that I enjoyed parts of SS, and the same was true here. And I feel like at least part of it was all about context. Which means that part 2, based on the tagline, may or may not be a dealbreaker. Because the thing that interests me the most is not superheroines in peril, but superheroines in *control*. And I'm not even talking about femdom. But the Superheroines in Peril trope is rapey, where what Jess was in SS - and J Drew was in that scene with Morlun - is not. Women in control of the situation, of their sexuality. Honestly, my favorite part of the comic was Spider-Bitch, which is shocking since I don't exactly see that name as very healthy, even if it's the name she chose for herself. Of course, having said that, the darker nature of the stories also means that just because the Spider-Women kill the Inheritors at the end of it (rather than the other way around) it's still not very sexy to me. I don't have anything against fucking villians, or even killing villians... just feels weird to have them in the same headspace. In some ways, the darker tone works too, allowing for different kinds of kinks. I like the incest, I like the dirty talk, and Chees-ter's art also supports the darker feel of the story. At the end of the day, though, what I find is that I'd honestly be more interested in more of what we had at the beginning: various Spider-Women fucking various Spider-Men, rather than subduing cannibal murderers with sex. Will I go in for HFtI #2? Well, we'll see.

Thanks! I will try to have a higher sex ratio on the sequel, though.

it was one of the more interesting comics its rare that sex and plot try to cooperate with each other.
