Environment poll

While preparing stuff to render, I was wondering if people consider the environment the scene is happening in important? On the unbirth clip I'm going to be using the same, almost empty room I used on the last clip. But if variety is important to people, I'll do something new for the next one. We'll I'll probably change the area of the room it's happening at least, there's now been two clips on the same bed!
Of course the more detailed the background stuff is, the more it takes time to render. And of course to build them in the first place.
