Diminishment (RPG Maker game) - Progress report

Hey!

The name might be temporary, although I think it's fine, and I didn't see any other size games with the name, after doing a quick google. If you know of any, let me know!

Figuring this stuff out was tougher than expected! Luckily I found some scripts & plugins that helped with the video integration, the RPG maker default stuff was very simple, and it would have not been possible to do anything near what I wanted to do.

I've now finished a short demo, that shows what the "gameplay" might be like. If you can call QTE's gameplay. But there's not that much wiggle room when it comes to interactivity with pre-rendered cutscenes. I'd like to have different kinds of mini-games included however. The kind of stuff you see in fishing mini-games for example, with the bar that you need to click at the right time, etc.

The QTEs might be a bit short, but the animation didn't leave much wiggle room. I'll have to keep that in mind, when doing the actual scene.

There's no new animation included here, it's based on the AV scene I released mid March.

Let me know of any issues, there's some minor stuttering in between transitions that I'm aware of, as it's very hard to get everything to sync perfectly inside RPG maker. But if you see anything else, let me know. I also noticed a typo at the "win" part of the event, showed should be shoved, although I guess it could work this way as well.

With having mostly figured out the technical side of this thing, I think I'm ready to move on to animating the actual 2 on 1 scene. Which will probably be a mix of Oral & UB. Probably something like a tug of war. It'll be mostly POV, but I'll have some outside shots here and there, so we can see the girls expressions and stuff as well. I will however, try not to show the player characters head/face. This is partly so I can avoid most of the rendering times required for two different shrunken genders, and partly due to the self insert factor.

I'll try to post some playblasts around same time next week.

In case you're curious how these will be released, I've not yet locked down anything but:

Public/free version: 720p resolution, lower video framerate, maybe. Default gender, default name, maybe a water mark in the bottom right corner.

Patreon version (10$): 1080p, gender choice(sm version might have a delay in release, if some parts require re-rendering), name choice, obviously no watermark.

5$ tier: Access to WIP builds with playblasts, so pretty much the same as with videos. They will also have finished content from previous builds, which will be rendered. There's no point in going back and switching back old WIP materials!

1$ tier: Still images, same as before.

Credit tier: I'm not entirely sure how I'll handle this, I might just do it so, that if you've ever completed a 20$ tier pledge after this point (or you have one unused), you can have your name in them.

But as I said, these are subject to change, depending on how stuff works out. I'm still pretty new to RPG maker, so the pipeline isn't exactly finalized.
