Hey!
Here's Part 1 of the prologue. Other than secondary animations, like breasts and hair, and some minor polish, it's pretty much done. And rendering & audio needs to be done obviously, but all those will be done after the whole prologue is otherwise complete. As said in the previous post, part 1 only includes the shrinking process, it cuts away right before the first interactive event is about to begin.
DL LINK (MEGA)v0.11d
-Added slowmotion mode (pausing felt too jarring, so decided to go with this instead):
This slows down message and video speed down to half during the automessage parts of the CG event. You can toggle it at start up, or with the "page up" key during the affected parts of the event, it won't accept it after the auto messages stop coming. This will also start the event from the beginning.
-Fixed more gender pronouns (I really think that's all of them now..)
-Fixed the loop syncing a bit, so there should be less of a jump during clip transitions (But, it seems to be a bit fickle, the slowmo can sometimes break it at least, even though it shouldn't be able to affect it in any way, but I think any kind of framerate loss during the looping moments can cause a it to go off sync)
DL LINK (MEGA)v0.11c (old version, in case I broke something in the new one)
-Fixed some gender pronouns,
-Slowed down cutscenes a bit (not the CG one, it needs a different approach, which is more difficult)
-Grammar fixes, according to Drunlade's tips.
-Stutter/freezing at the end, hopefully fixed
Sorry for taking a bit longer than planned, I ended up doing a lot more animation than I expected, originally I was going to just have the characters stand in loops most of the shrinking, but I felt it required something more, especially since I'd have to render the shrinking parts fully anyway, since it'd be impossible to loop the size change, so might as well throw in something there.
Let me know if you spot any typos, or spelling mistakes. I'm not a native English speaker, nor a writer, but I'm doing my best!
And if you encounter any bugs, feel free to comment, or send me a pm, whichever you prefer.
As a side note: The VR version of Shrunk & Used will still take at least a week to render, I forgot to take into account some frames I hadn't done yet, when making my last estimate, and working on these animations obviously add to rendering times.
Anyway, feedback is welcome, let me know what you think!
Happy Mother's day! For those who live in a country where it's celebrated tomorrow.
