MCU's tweaking on May's age made me a lot more comfortable to play with her in new stories, since I'm not quite turned on by the Gilf fetish.
What are your feelings about it?

To be honest, I've wanted her in a Marvel role ever since I first saw her in "My Cousin Vinnie"; there's a scene where she's wearing a skin-tight, super-sexy body suit, and she's got a white streak in her hair, and seeing that made me think that she would have made a GREAT Rogue if X-Men films existed at that time. She MIGHT be a bit too old now for that particular role, but there's other roles which I believe she'd be really good for, like Aunt May, or Mystique (I never cared for the younger mystique as portrayed by Jennifer Lawrence), or Clea, Dr. Strange's love interest. But anyway, back to Aunt May, who better to teach the young, nerdy Peter about women that his loving Aunt May (and I'm sure she'll be feeding him plenty of wheat cakes to keep his... strength...up.), and then he gets to practice what he learned on Gwen or MJ, (or both?!?) with May listening in, of course, and perhaps even joining in for some "hands -on" tutoring?... ^_^

2016-08-29 00:34:36 +0000 UTCWell this was awesome. As for my opinion on making aunt may younger in the movies. It really depends. Originally Peter's aunt being old served a very important purpose. Pete had to take care of her. As much as he needed her she was also part part his never-ending tilt-a-whirl of problems that kept him from relaxing. But she doesn't need to be old to fill that same role so... yeah, we'll see how it goes.
