Isn't all of Spidey's bodily fluids technically radioactive, so if Hope ate and got covered in the stuff wouldn't you expect something to "mutate"????

2019-10-17 18:48:14 +0000 UTCThe story and dialog were fine but as for the art, this had some seriously bland backgrounds. I dunno if that was a stylistic choice or if this was a bit rushed, but I felt that aspect could have used a lot more work.

2019-10-17 06:28:46 +0000 UTCAnt Man & the Wasp 2, the reactionary sequel! That may sound a bit odd but it's hard to ignore in this issue. I remember some being upset that the first issue never paired Pete with Hope (even though their characters never shared a scene), so fuck it that happens now. Why is the Wasp still in her movie one haircut, it was Pete slipping and ruining her hair that lead to her new locks! You've got questions, issue two has scores of answers. Stay tuned for issue three where we learn how Scott forgot about Wasp's powers in the movie, for some reason. We have been getting parodies of every MCU flick, Spidey or not originally included, and this is a sequel to one that was utterly superb but was a scorched earth of hotness that no issue can adequately follow. This wasn't bad but it felt utterly pointless. It sets up Carol on earth years before she returned for a pairing that doesn't amount to much in a world where Edgegame exists. The biggest highlight is Luis, his comedy gold elevates what would otherwise be a dry issue. But its hard to care for a second, much less a third, of these when Homecoming really didn't get huge coverage, and FFH is aching for the Scops treatment.
