Cafe Doodles || Void and Xennos
Added 2019-04-03 18:24:58 +0000 UTCA small little something done for Silver of our boys Void [left] and Xennos [right].
I did one for her and she did one for me, so this turned into a small collaborative project. She did, thanks to a suggestion from our lovely friend Takoda, a 100ish word drabble for the piece in an effort to get her back into writing more again.

Ice cold, sweet and covered in chocolate. Ice cream; one of my top ten favorite treats. Never have I been inclined to share with anyone. My treats or otherwise. Exceptions are so few and far between. Vibrant eyes examine me, a melancholy hidden within. Worn down and overworked with no end in sight.
“Have some…” The guise of a half-hearted gesture as a spoon is offered.
“Really?!” With a nod, joy sparkles to life in those sapphire pools accompanied by a delighted clap. “Yay!” The light has once more returned to his face.
His smile; The only treat I require.
