Updates -- Delays and living situation changes

Hello again, Cafè Cats!

In the interest of keeping everyone up to date with what's going on with me, I figured that I would make a little update announcement thing. 

The first thing that I want to cover is that I will be late with this month's wallpaper. I know I mentioned it in the discord and also on my twitter, but I lost power on Monday (15th). My wife picked me up from our apartment on Tuesday (16th) and brought me to the wolf dog sanctuary that she volunteers at and the moment that we got here, our vehicle broke down. We had to have the vehicle towed and wait for them to order the part to fix it. The manager of the sanctuary offered to take us home as soon as our power was back on, but we opted to just stay for a couple of reasons-- the vehicle was still in the shop and because they had an elderly dog in the cabin that we were staying in that we wanted to look after for as long as possible. 

Instead of her taking us home to stay she was nice enough to run us to our apartment so I could pick up my computer for work, that was on Sunday (21st). We found that we had power on our visit to pick up our things but our internet was out and didn't come back on til today so it was really a blessing that we decided to stay. I have been working to catch up on finishing my regular patron rewards from then til now. Wednesday (24th) was a difficult day; the senior dog we were looking after had to be put to sleep. She was 17 years old and her quality of life was slipping and she had had some complications the night before so it was time regardless of how hard it was. Our vehicle repairs were done that day as well, but we decided to stay here until Friday since it wouldn't make sense to drive home on Wednesday only for her to have to drive back on Friday. 

And that's why I'm going to be late. I lost a week which has thrown my whole schedule off. I will, of course, be running the poll for the next wallpaper as planned. And I'm hoping to have the wallpaper completed by the time I am ready to put up the concepts for the next one. 

The next thing I wanted to go over also ties into the wolf dog sanctuary that Silver volunteers at. At the end of January she was offered a fantastic opportunity to do more of what she loves as a live in carer here at the sanctuary. We had wanted to wait until we were a little bit closer to the actual moving portion of this, but this winter storm and the power outages we have lost about two weeks in our schedule and will have to do some serious hustling to move out of our apartment and onto the grounds of the sanctuary. During that time I will more than likely be a little bit slower on my work, but I don't think that I'll have to stop completely because we plan to do a little bit of moving at a time. We won't really have internet unless we wander down to the learning center for the first few weeks but its looking like we're going to have to go with Satellite or 4G because this place is way out in the middle of nowhere and there are no "lines" out here. Other than that, the hope was to be out by mid to late March, but with the loss of 2 weeks from the winter storm outages its looking like we won't be completely out until April. 

I think that's about all that I wanted to cover because that's where we're at currently. 

I really appreciate your patience with me these last few weeks. I know that I have been extremely bad at keeping in communication, but I have been making the best of a crumby situation. I hope that those are you that were or still are being affected by the fall out of that are doing well.
