They were both charged with 6 counts of aggravated child abuse. It was Jodi's belief system that Ruby adopted and promoted.

I am so confused. Ruby Franke was arrested in Springville Utah where her home is located? Or was Ruby arrested in Ivins Utah with Jodi? If Ruby arrested in Springville, when was she transported to Purgatory Correctional? It is a 4 hour ride. Ruby kept her mouth shut for 4 hours? Really? Ha. Both Ruby and Jodi are now in Purgatory Correctional near Ivins I believe. Both in medical. Separated from each other. Was Jodi at her home in Ivins when the police arrived with a search warrant? I read that the 1st time the police were at Jodi's, they did not find EF. They returned and found EF hiding in a bathroom? Ruby called Kevin at work (what work if he was fired from BYU?) and told Kevin to head to Ivins/St George? Did Kevin go there? He was not let to see the kids but was stopped and questioned by law enforcement? Jodi was arrested at her home in Ivins ? The child custody hearings are being held in Provo, Utah County, near Springville where the Franke home is located? The abuse hearings are being held in Washington County, near Ivins Whether or not Jodi was doing official counseling, using her therapy license, she is still a mandatory reporter of child abuse? So if RF abused EF and Jodi KNEW about that, she is a mandatory reporter and should have reported EF as abused? Ruby was stopped for a traffic infraction around 6am near Ivins 2 days before RF escaped. This would prove her in the area but not the home. The video with Jodi verifies Ruby was in the home? The safe room was in Jodi's home, under the garage. With a Liberty Safe/Vault door. RF said the 10 year old and 14 year old might be in there. RF was isolated from siblings probably or he would have known the 14 year old was not in Ivins. How did AF and JF get to American Fork Utah where the police found them and took them into protective custody? 8 Passengers Productions LLC received $84K in pandemic loans showing 2 employees. Who investigates whether the PPP loans were fraudulent? Bless Shari Franke for showing up with her attorney at the custody hearing 9-18.

They have been referring clients to Jodi for years, despite all the attempts of her older children and others to get her shut down. They fully support all her crazy ideas because these ideas reflect their own patriarchal "you can talk to Jesus" and "the end of the world is coming" nonsense. They embraced Chad Daybell too. I'm sick of churches getting a pass because of "religion." Same with the Catholic church with their inquisitions and modern day cover ups of child SA within their ranks. Same with the Evangelical Christians and their homophobia and Duggar-like families. Every organized religion is based on fairy tales dreamed up by men who simply want to control and have power over the masses. Kudos to Lauren for standing up to this dangerous LDS craziness. Most members of religious sects are good people just trying to live moral lives and I'm not suggesting that Mormons should be portrayed as lunatics. But the powers that be in every religion have very different HIDDEN agendas and they all need to be on blast for enabling and supporting evil people.

2023-09-10 22:47:49 +0000 UTCI just listened to an interview with Sherri. She very clearly describes how the "life coaching" she did was clearly linked to the gospel. Immediately her faults were pointed out to her and she was constantly asked to talk about what she'd done wrong. Always a negative focus which she found carried into her being a very judgmental person when she got to college. Jodi's entire therapeutic focus is on a deficit model, not a strength-bases model. Cognitive distortions, rather than seen as part of human nature and often protective in nature, are seen as only evidence of sin.

You are calling into question why a particular segment of society is repeatedly getting tangled in crimes against their own children. You are not attacking the LDS, you are attacking the repetitive crimes. Just as Catholics had to require the Church deal honestly with it’s sex scandal, the hierarchy of LDS needs to deal honestly and effectively with these repeating intra family crimes and murders.

This whole system of thinking in general needs to be seriously addressed so people like Jody don't have these easy religious targets. Not an insult to her victims at all. Just an objective observation. Religious/superstitious people who believe in mythology, have heightened vulnerability.
