2024-04-02 02:19:45 +0000 UTCI just joined because even though Dr John’s analysis of the finding of EF was really tough to watch, I would not have understood the true effect of the isolation theory unless he had explained this research. Even though I did have to look away a couple of times, Dr John was humble enough to say that he was reminded of this research and didn’t get EF’s reaction straight away. I cried and cried for those two kids. Thank goodness the bodycam was a bit fuzzy and those wonderful first responders, they got it. The policeman who slid her the drink and pizza was right there when arrogant Ruby was asked a few questions, I think he had some unrepeatable thoughts 💪

This whole conversation felt like codes, also how her voice changes when she says that "I am a good girl, I don't do naughty things." The part about Sharri being in Kahoot with Ruby's family feels like a bunch of conspiracy theories. Going to be reading the journal these next few days.

Why did Ruby and Jodi meet w LDS leaders in Spring 2023 and why are those meetings the intro to the diary? Were they discussing opening a youth program using the demonic “intervention” program test run on the kids Summer 2023? What the heck is with Pam? I mean the apology at sentencing was so obviously a message. What was the proposed merging of cults summit organized by the Hannas? And who is the other leader/cult? I do think the scribed 4-5 hours vision sessions with Ruby, Pam and Jody sound a lot like the Ketamine vision sessions reported here in another case.

2024-03-29 20:21:27 +0000 UTCI think Ruby and Kevin initially believed that Ruby would be released from jail pending trial and they would take the kids and get out of Dodge. In their jailhouse call they, like the Adelsons, are talking in code. They are very concerned about finding that bag of money that Kevin says he "very much thinks they will need." He says he's "gone dark" and no one will be able to "find him." Ruby says they have enough curriculum materials to teach the kids "for a few years." I think Kevin freaked out about Sherri taking his stuff because she may have taken the money AND the Pen Papers -- two things they desperately needed to take with them on the run.

2024-03-25 19:47:14 +0000 UTCI'm not totally sure but I believe there were two or three jail calls that have been most widely shared. The first was with Kevin where she talks about adults not understanding that kids can be full of evil. I believe that was a very early-on call. Later there's a call with her sister where she talks about Jodi having plead guilty. She also talks, in the call with her sister, about what she thinks the judge is looking for from her which is remorse. I believe the call with her sister is just before she plead and apologized in court. I hope this helps.

There was nothing either of those children could have done that would have ever been "good enough" to meet the expectations of Ruby or Jodi (if they say something that sounds right, Ruby then accuses them of only saying that for some other reason). Towards the end of the journal, in August she talks about having one of the children stand on one foot to put their sock on the other foot and how they can't do it...of course they can't, they are have extremely low muscle tone, are likely anemic and vitamin deficient, potentially even experiencing neurologic effects from malnourishment preventing them from completing the task. She complains about bathroom accidents, in addition to behavioral/psychological reasons for this, there are also very physical reasons these could be happening based on their nutrition, hygiene, and physical state. Her "discipline techniques" will not "fix" any this, it will only make it all worse. So much worse. I thank God the boy escaped when he did, he saved his and his sister's lives.

You could just hear her go through those steps many young Mormons were taught as children. Yes, I believe she is sorry but only for getting caught. If not for that she would go on and on and on doing the some thing.

I think these are the tactics parents use to create future psychopaths. These children need a lot of loving, validating help, I fear for them if they don't get it. Ruby took all her unresolved pain and hatred out on these children. I have never read anything worse in my life.

The rental was apparently accessible from inside or very close to main residence. However I am not seeing any mention of these guests being interviewed despite one of the officers acknowledging their presence. I am wondering if they aren’t actually involved? I mean who tortures 2 screaming kids while you have supposed uninvolved strangers staying with you?

2024-03-22 23:33:14 +0000 UTCI’m listening to her call after I read her journal. Hearing her cry about being misunderstood makes me want to throw up after reading how she treated her kids. Doesn’t she think they felt misunderstood? being told they were filled with demons or following satan. Besides just providing for your kids physically with food, water and a safe home you are also supposed to teach them how to regulate their emotions and comfort them. She was torturing them and then punishing them for their reactions. My mind is just blown on how any one can have that little motherly instinct or compassion. I just can’t wrap my brain around it. I can’t talk to my husband about it because he would be so horribly disgusted he would just tell me to not tell him anymore. Like he wouldn’t be able to even listen to a summary she’s so horrid. Sorry for my long post but I need to talk to people who read the same things I did about this case.
