2024-07-26 12:41:06 +0000 UTCThis interview was nuts! But honestly from the first videos clips I saw of him I immediately felt my stomach turn. To tag along to the comments about the song lyrics and church background, the way he presents is very typical of men in his position in certain evangelical Christian niches. It’s a subculture of a subculture and just as many people picked up on the “bishop” voice in the daybell trial, there is a certain speaking type and personality in some Christian churches. I’ve seen it more common in charismatic/apostolic leaning churches particularly without a denomination (accountability). My friends and I dubbed it the “evangelical hero complex”. In my own background I came into contact with a lot of weirdos and just from the way this guy “preaches” I don’t trust him a bit. I think he is put off in the interview as he is used to a captive audience that hangs on his every word. Whether he did anything intentionally to cause her death I’m not sure, but this guy is as toxic as it gets and dangerous because he is in a position of unchecked religious power.

2024-07-25 02:24:22 +0000 UTCThat one God apostolic Line that he gave in the interview is actually verbatim of a Sunday school song and yes, it is from a very strait laced cultish Pentecostal sect of the Christian church… I was raised singing that song and have spent the last 25 years of my life recovering from a religion that weaponized God and distorted my views about literally everything … it’s nuts seeing how all of these high demand religions and cults are alike and what it can do to warp minds (can we say Daybell?) men with power… nope! I’ll study the Bible for myself!
