cause HOLY FUCK am I now finding mistakes I made with the similar shot in this. I was drawing her in 3Q and realized "wait, I did this already, I can just reuse those drawings!"
So i went to the drawings of her putting on the glasses, only to find out with the way I broke it down, I couldn't. To use it in that form I'd still have to redraw / make new drawings.
The organization is a NIGHTMARE.
So I spent the evening taking the original drawing and piecing it out into components like you would with a rig. While I'll still present it in a fbf style, now at least if I edit something, it'll show up on ALL instances of that drawing.
WHY DID I DO IT THE OTHER WAY CHRIST
GOD i'm such an idiot. I'll need to be extremely careful when I'm coloring the several other drawings, but I may split things into 'head' and 'body' so I can move the head around to different poses without requiring me to draw an entirely new head.
But anyway the moral of the story:
DON'T FUCKIN LET ME DO A FRAME BY FRAME MOVIE IN THE FUTURE
FUCK 'CHALLENGING' YOURSELF THIS AINT HELPING ME LEARN NUFFIN
At this point redoing a big chunk of the poses and drawings is actually going to be faster than just continuing on as I was so I may opt to do that.
