It's not a huge risk to me but it does complicate the repair process. I've already moved everything to the other side of the house, into my room, so I'm far away from where the damage is.
Normally the asbestos wouldn't be a huge issue cause it'd be inside the walls itself, not airborne, but since they need to knock out part of the wall to get to the broken pipes it has to be abated first.
We're still waiting to hear back from the insurance company to figure out the next step...
