Adobe announced earlier this month that they will be increasing the subscription pricing on Lightroom and Photoshop, effective January 15, 2025. This may or may not effect you. Let me explain...
Starting January 15, 2025, the price of the Adobe Creative Cloud Photography plan with 20GB storage will increase in all countries.
Annual billed monthly: Increase of US$5, from US$9.99 to US$14.99 per month
Annual prepaid: No increase, the price will remain US$119.88 per year
SUGGESTION: If you currently have the $9.99 "billed monthly" plan, you may wish to change to the annual prepaid ($119.88) plan. All those with this plan will be grandfathered in at this old price (as long as you do not cancel your subscription). If you cancel your subscription and want to re-subscribe later, you'll be forced into the 1TB Cloud Space plan at $19.99 per month (or $239.88 annually).
If you already subscribe to the $19.99 per month ($239.88 annually) Photography Plan (LR, LRC, PS + 1TB Cloud Space) – Nothing changes with your plan and you’ll still be able to pay the same price monthly or yearly.
NEW Lightroom/Photoshop subscriptions: The 20GB Cloud Space plan is being phased out. After January 15, 2025, only the 1TB Cloud Space Plan ($19.99 monthly or $239.88 annually) will be available to new customers.
Fellow Patreon creator, Jurgen Lobert, first brought this price increase to my attention.
