Back at It
Added 2022-04-15 01:14:15 +0000 UTCHey everyone. I wanted to touch base with a few updates. First, I wanted to express my gratitude for you all. Your support for me while I was off in Poland & Ukraine was humbling. I wish that I knew of a good way to express how thankful I am for you all and for your generosity.
Second, I thought that I'd give you a heads up of what's to come on the channel. I've got a few episodes coming up soon from the Battle of Jenkins' Ferry in Arkansas. This is the battle that was depicted in the beginning of the movie Lincoln. We also did some metal detecting of the battlefield and found some pretty cool stuff.
While in Poland, there were a few mornings where I was able to go out early and shoot some content before reporting to work at the border. One video will be showing some Soviet WWII bunkers on the Molotov Line, which to my knowledge, have never been shown on YouTube. I also visited a cemetery in PrzemyΕl that was pretty unique and a few WWI fortifications that were part of the longest siege of WWI. On our last day, we had to go to Krakow to get a Covid test (dumb), so we spent the day doing some filming there too. Went to the Krawkow ghetto, Oskar Schindler's apartment and factory and the Plaszow concentration camp location.
And also, there's a wealth of content for American Artifact that Erik and I filmed last fall. So hopefully, there will be something in there that people will find interesting.
