I also don't think it's required viewing(to answer Kenny's question above), The show is doing a great job of standing on it's own, but it may help fill in gaps if you have them.

2019-10-22 17:39:06 +0000 UTCThis is a follow up to the Novel, If you want to learn more about the world and don't feel like reading the graphic novel I would suggest watching or reacting to the movie, It would fill in a bunch about what is going on. I'm about 18 minutes into your reaction loving it so far!

The creator said it’s like a puzzle and he gives us a piece at a time so it is supposed to be weird. Same creator as Lost and the Leftovers if you’ve seen those😄

2019-10-22 14:02:00 +0000 UTCI'm not a big comic book person. I don't watch superhero movies. I know nothing about Watchmen. But people went apeshit over this pilot and the reviews are really good. I know it touches on themes of race and racism and Regina King is a goddess, so I'd like to watch this. But will I be totally lost knowing nothing about Watchmen? I literally know nothing about it.
