Yeah definitely the relationship between Chloe and her mom and the abuse that tore them apart and the love that brought them together was the most interesting part of this episode for me. Also I’m looking forward to your next reaction of Buffy. It becomes a very different show after that episode😏

2019-12-08 15:29:29 +0000 UTCLots of people really write this off completely and I can see why - but I think you tapped into the actual potential of what the story could have been... the tale of loss and longing for someone to be there for you that Chloe goes through. I had a feeling you'd like it more than most people (which I think you did, even if you didn't love it). There's some absolute silliness to this episode, but I like the central story surrounding Chloe and her family.

2019-12-08 14:05:25 +0000 UTCI think this one is considered by most to be one of the worst episodes of the Tennant run. I'm not a fan either. I read that this one was written to replace an unfinished script written by Stephen Fry. It wasn't finished due to his other commitments. I don't believe that story was ever made either. I think this was a last minute script to fill the gap in the schedule and if that is true I think it shows.
