I’m thinking Godric was the only one who could make Eric stand down with his death it could unleash Eric in a lot of ways but most likely that’s why they connected him & Sookie now she’ll be the one he’ll listen too & only she will be able to truly keep in check. Like she’ll become his conscience. That seems pretty predictable she already seemed to have some power over him so this will just strengthen that.

2021-04-12 00:16:12 +0000 UTCIt’s nice to see someone getting so emotional at a show like I do, things can really hit home for me. Even knowing what would happen I was still overwhelmed with emotion watching this, and wow I’m reminded what a good actor Alexander really is, I’ve seen him in some dramas and he can portray real people very well, so when Eric shows his “humanity” I think that’s when his acting really shines on this show. Of course he plays a stone cold vampire quite well too, lol. This was a really good episode. I’m liking Sam a lot more this time around too, maybe it’s your influence or I’m just seeing things in a different way.

Although I realized later that even though Godric was very evolved at the end he probably spent many centuries killing people and came to regret it and was very touched by Sookie’s tears and empathy. Almost like anyone can be forgiven like she said. Beautiful😭
