That’s true that Lafayette should be more worried, but I guess she hasn’t been gone that long

I love that we got to see Jesus again in this ep! Every scene with him and Lafayette makes me so happy. That is one of best developments in the show at this point. But poor Tara is going through hell right now, and I don’t get why Lafayette isn’t more worried about where she is, especially given the fact that she just recently tried to kill herself.

I wondered why it took Eric over a thousand years to find Russel Edgington too, but I think Russel has gone by different names and been pretty elusive probably. I mean he chose to live in Mississippi of all places, one of the most backwoods places (way more so than Louisiana even) and werewolves might not be very smart but they are so secretive that even though everyone knows about vampires now, not many people know werewolves exist. They probably kill anyone that discovers their existence since they can’t glamour people like the vamps do.

Oh and I'm pissed they killed Godric too lol. They could've done way more with him.
I believe in future episodes they explain why Russell waited until now to do what he's doing. I won't spoil it for you though. And I agree Jason's story is the weakest part of the season. It does get more interesting though.

Franklin needs to die. Alcid needs to be shirtless in every scene.

Great reaction! This was a strong episode. All the stuff in Mississippi, Sookie and the wolves, Tara and Franklin, Bill and Russell... the stuff with Sam and his family back in Bon Temps, Lafayette and Jesus. A lot of good stuff.
Tara can't catch a break! I feel so bad for her. Franklin's a psychopath.
Really excited for the next episode!

That’s crazy that it took Eric that long to find his family’s killer though. When he and Godric were posing as Nazis he was already almost 1000 years old.

Great reaction, the house that Sam let his family move into is the one he rented out to Daphne in season 1. Eric did continue to look for his family's killer when he was turned. There was a flash back scene with him and Godric in the nazi era searching out wolves that had that mark and trying to find out who their master was. The wolf community is highly secretive and hard t infiltrate. A lot of the vampires that power suck as queen, king, sheriff or the magistrate are old vampires but some have been around longer than others and the heircy they built is a way to keep order amongst the vampires otherwise you could kill whoever and it would be chaos. Like Russell said the magistrate only has power that they allow him to have.
