2020-03-15 16:13:13 +0000 UTCRegarding the portrayal of men, I think Shameless tries to put everyone on equal footing because it seeks to be politically incorrect for everyone. It wants everyone to be in on the joke. But the Milkovich dad is unapologetically awful, no excuses made. Shameless doesn't give every man a pass. But there are definitely "man" elements, especially earlier on.

I understand your perspective on Ian and Mickey. I'm curious to see if your opinion changes as the series goes on. Same with Karen. I always love hearing your insight at the end, particularly with Shameless. Love the braids, by the way!
